Before that all was sleepy at the bus.
First half of the team went abseiling, about 18 people. The other half blow, explore more about the cave (wonderful scenes, full of mystery and history) Saw team member’s abseiling through cave wall about "70m HIGH!!"(That was scary and made most of the members nervous) Before abseiling we have to hike up about 70m to the abseiling activities and the hike was not like macritchie or Kent ridge, it was more like mountain climbing!!"

And Fadillah went on.

"There were no steps/stairs. But the branches and not strong branches help us to hold on
(And that was freaking tiring but i enjoy it so much)At the abseiling scene, we are needed to wear harness, helmet and head torch. A bit of learning and practice of doing the abseiling.
One by one went for the abseiling, but no one’s faces looked sad, most of them were happy maybe they were all are excited. Happy to see our friends waiting below. But some of them were sleeping because of waiting."

Fadillah! you rocks the abseiling! (: & i bet the rest of the rafters felt the same way too.

We had lunch and next....

CAVING!

Here's the pics!

Here's what Genie think of caving!

" Before going for the camp, the teachers told us that caving is a challenge, with crawling, going through small holes, climbing and etc. Hearing this I was scared, because being bigger than others, I feared that I wouldn’t be able to go through the hole. (but at the end of the activity I was again another happy girl) To go to the cave, it was like a mini obstacle course. We had to walk on narrow planks, cross over big puddles of water. We had to help one and other to reach the cave.Once at the cave, I was really wondering how it was gona be. It was pitch dark and we had to depend on torchlight and head lamps to guide us."

And genie went on!

" Going though the cave, it was slippery and some of us hold hands during the journey.
The Most interesting part came, THE HOLE! Seeing one by one go through made me smile abit, than when it was my turn, the hole looked smaller, I tried my best n used my flexibility and got through. I was a happy girl again. Coming to the end of the activity, it was getting dark, but it was fun, as we were like trekking in the night. This activity got all campers to be more bonded. And Caving is the best so far…: D "

Hohoho! Genie! She has fallen in love with CAVING! Cave girl! (:

Next was...........

CAMPFIRE!

Here's the pics!

Here's is what Firman think of!

" It was of the best camp i ever had. The reason i felt this way is that, all of us were like so hyper and random until to the extent of confusion! we just don't know what to dance and sing. I just felt it was great to be in these type of campfires as this would make us felt like home. We did some campfire songs and many more! Dancing was like -.-! yeah but was great! (HAHAHA!) and to add on, those who were the quiet one was rather very sporting! Maybe because of the heat lol."

And Firman went on..

"I personally felt that during the debrief moments we had after the campfire- it was a very meaningful one. Reason being, i just felt the needs to spark the fire that night. Our debrief topics was about Life. Yeah life, sound cliche but- good things come in small package. Those who were there, all close their eyes and have to think of their life journey. and guess what! It was in the dark! and it was soo cooling and dark! And that will trigger their inner thinking to be amplified. Thank you all for the cooperation moments and it was a GREAT moments we had during campfire!"

We had some great FUN in the heat of the CAMPFIRE!! :D oiiiiiiiiii~!

Next..

Flying Fox! Rafting! River Crossing!

Here's the pics!

Here's what Genie Felt for Flying Fox!

"I have heard about flying fox, so I was very excited about it, as it’s going to be my first time.
After getting to the place, I realize it was just a mini flying fox, which made me quite disappointed, as I expected it to be higher and longer. Wearing the wet harness was funny, as before I even did the flying fox I got wet.It took like only a blink of eyes before I reached the end point. From the end point, we had to swim across to get to the start point. It was scary, as I didn’t know if there was crocodile or any sea snakes in the river. But to get across, I had to swim, so I acted brave and went across, Swimming across was a nice feeling, because unlike caving, abseiling, this was very relaxing. After reaching the end point, I was happy that I didn’t get a leech on me, as I some of them had leeches on them when they came out the water.
This activity was relaxing and fun too."

Here's what Fadillah think of Rafting!

"That suit our group name Rafters. Wow!!! We build our raft not the with good rope, boat or what?? We need to build it by raffia ropes, plastic tube, and poles that seem like not so strong. So we discussed what on how to tie up all the equipment to make the raft going on river smoothly. On the help of two people are Firuz and Firman they make the raft going good with the skill of tying of knobs. Well each of us has this funny and negative thought is our mind that, "we can't make it", "this string is not to strong", the middle part is not that strong and not balance". When we raft it at the river, it seem that is okay and "it float"! But the main thing is that, we have difficulty to go on the raft because our raft is not in balance. So we have to slowly get on and try to balance ourselves with the raft. Our raft the not balance part is in the middle. But every doing great when four of us manage to get on. Slowly we paddle to back and forth, HAH!!!We manage to float and it going! But pity thing is that one by one of the team is their raft is breaking and sinking. But our raft is still okay."

Next was..

Trekking cum Canopy Walk!

Here's the pics!

Here's what Firuz think!

" It was cool that i learnt a lot about the nature. One of the things i learnt was some of the leaves there has the ability to change its colour by following the reflections of the sunlight! But, the whole trekking was soooooooo slippery and tiring but i didn't give up easily! And all of us managed to reach the summit and the view was awesome. In addition to that, the canopy walk was sooo shaky and high! I felt sooo free! (:"

Woah, We're ozzing with smiles while doing the trekking and canopy walk even though it was tiring! When we reach the summit, like what is qouted from Genie- "I felt a sense of satisfactory when i reached the summit" . *Hats off!* :D RAFTER!

Now the last activity!

RAPID SHOOTING!

Here's the pics!

Here's what Jasline and Genie thinks!

"LOLS, I thought it was really gonna be shooting (from gun). Although actually I did not want to touch the murky disgusting water or get intact with it. But after getting wet purposely, my mind was like forget it man, might as well get wet the whole body and join in the splashing fun. To look at a positive direction, I forgot the dirt and ENJOYED!! Cause it was the LAST activity for the camp." - Jasline.

"Splash!! The wettest activity. I didn’t know that rapid shooting would get us this wet. When I got on the boat, the boat was already shaking, I was scared that the boat might capsize, but I had faith in the boat driver. Before even starting the ride, everyone on my boat started splashing water on water on each other. That got us partially wet. Than when the ride started, it went smooth, till 2 both were side by side. AND the chaos begins. We started splashing water at them and vice versa. By the end of the ride, ALL of us were fully drenched. And to end of the activity, a leech got on my shoulder, but I was very touched when everyone came to help me get the leech of me. That really showed the bond between us though we known each other for a month or less." - Genie.

HAHA! RAFTERs do loveeeeeeeee the water huh!? (: that's why we're called- RAFTER!

And to sum up! (: (More to come)

Why this last pic?! Ruzaini is there?! Ohh ya! wait, he's our security guard for the trip. No wonder he's in the picture. (:

Last words! (But not the least!) ;)

"LET'S DO IT AGAIN MAN :D" - Jasline & Fadillah

" Overall, the trip was great and fun. I would rate this trip 4 star out of 5. The instrustors that plan the activities was fine. Without them, we won't have much fun at Taman Negara. All thanks to them that we had experience a great time together." - Firuz

" The camps really change me to a whole new person. It changed the perception of me in seeing my life. I learnt how to be independent and realize my potentials. Now I believe that if you put your whole heart and do something you will definitely succeed. And I also learnt that you are never alone. If you need help, there is always someone ready to help you. And being a leader in this group also taught me a lot of new things and helped me improve my leadership skills. Being involved in this camp made me meet great friends whom I know I can never forget." - Genie

" Thank you for the great & unforgetable experience- be it rafter and to the rest too. I would like to send my appreciation to the instructors, Mr John, Mr Lam and Mdm Rajwan for making this trip a safe journey. With regards to that, I would like to send my recognition to the group leaders- Genie, Shikin, Farizulakif, Chun Kiat & Sharifah for their determination to led their respective group efficiently. Remember the talk we had in the ROOM!? Think of it. (: As for Renfred, you did well medic man! *Hats Off to you* & to ruzaini, you did your best buddy! Don't worry. (: Last but not the least, thank you to my handsome and beautiful EXCOs. Once again, thank you for this experience." - Md Firman, Camp Commandant.

RAFTER RAFTER oiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii~!
